Anti-Aging Program
Most people think of ageing as increasing dependence, weakness, poor health, lack of energy, foggy thinking and memory loss, little or no sex drive, and frailty. These consequences of aging are not inevitable. A good deal of whether we age comes from our choices in life—our diet and lifestyle. Although genetics does play a part, what we do actually triggers or “allows” our genes to do us in. The science of the factors other than genes that affect gene expression is called “epigenetics”—the study of what changes in lifestyle and reactions switch genes on and off and modify their actions. All the common diseases that age and disable humans today are preventable, some up to 85%.
A long, healthy life is associated with lowered risk factors for disease. Proper nutrition is a powerful technique to reverse the causes of aging. Going beyond “ordinary” nutrition, with targeted supplements in potent and pharmacological doses that attack the processes leading to aging adds a higher, more effective level of protection.
Selling youth in books, cosmetics, and other products is common nowadays. But aging is not due to a single “cause” in anyone. There are many causes in each one of us. It is usually a long-term result of lack of good habits that affects several organ systems.
Because there are many “causes”, there is no single magic bullet. Everyone knows there is no fountain of youth. The good news is that there are many—and if you put them together in a comprehensive health plan they will serve you well! To do this, we need to reverse the factors leading to aging at several levels: inside the cell, inside the organs, correct the abnormal signaling between the organs, and renew those changes that time brings about through “wear and tear.”
Through a whole-body plan that attacks the many causes of aging, you can not only slow the process, but be physically and mentally more youthful, energetic, and spry. Our program aims to make you feel and look better in as short a period of time as possible.
The hard part is finding the right program for you individually, and then doing it… We can help you with both steps.
The processes and systems involved in aging that we address include:
- Immunity
- Mitochondrial function: Loss of ability to produce energy (ATP), Coenzyme loss in the mitochondrial complexes, Inefficient control of programmed cell death (apoptosis)
- Systemic inflammation
- Defective and slow DNA repair
- Telomere shortening and defective telomerase activity
- Defective protein removal within cells
- Accumulations of deposits: toxins, protein aggregates, others
- Cell senescence
- Vision
- Bone and Joint health: Degeneration in cartilage and bone; Loss of bone mass: osteopenia and osteoporosis; Mechanical factors that contribute to poor mobility and function
- Changes in body composition, including increased weight and adiposity
- Heart and blood vessels: Blood pressure; Heart muscle weakness (presbycardia); Lax arterial walls; Inflammation in arteries; Atherosclerosis
- Blood sugar handling and glycation end products that interfere with normal metabolism and function
- Muscle changes: Loss of mass (sarcopenia); Loss of strength; Changes in response to exercise
- Cognitive loss: Slow and inaccurate thinking; Memory loss; Neurological toxicity
- Hormonal changes: Loss of hormones: estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, DHEA; Alterations in hormone receptors: thyroid, others; Changes in ratios of hormones
- Dehydration and electrolyte imbalance
- Sleep disturbances
- External illness and comorbidities
What we do
Our program is science-based, individualized, and designed to make you look and feel younger. Among the possible improvements you may notice are an increase in physical and mental energy, increased muscle mass and tone, loss of body fat, improvements in thinking and memory, and strength and stamina.
We take a thorough health history, survey your past responses to any conventional therapeutic measures, nutritional or other lifestyle changes you have made. We measure various nutritional and aging parameters, and place them in proper perspective with respect to the factors that are involved in aging above.
After reviewing your specific health background, and your present habits and goals, we carefully craft a customized program for those factors which are most important and relevant to improving the quality and length of your lifespan. In doing this, we discuss the advantages and alternative of each of the changes and nutrients we suggest. You make the final choice about each one. Our program is all natural, but uses a wide variety of substances and agents; there are no prescription items involved.
We create a chart and give you specific instructions that will help you to follow the changes we agree upon.
Our program, as you can see, is comprehensive, thorough, and organized. There are many possibilities, tools, and techniques and obviously it is not necessary to use them all in everyone.
In addition to degenerative aspects, we pay particular attention to these features:
- Dietary intervention, with attention to deficiencies, sensitivities, intolerances, and allergies
- Cellular and global body detoxification, including heavy metals, pesticides, and total toxic burden
- Homeopathy
- Environmental control
- Protection against damaging glycation
- Correction of defective methylation, sulfuration, and conjugation
- Antioxidant support
- Anti-inflammatory measures
- Stress reduction
- Brain neurotransmitter support
- Optimization of sleep and sleep hygiene
- Rebalancing of the autonomic system
- Restoration of optimum cellular nutrition
- Essential fatty acid fractionation and balancing
- Elimination of triggers
In most instances our goal is to bring about permanent improvements in health habits. Participants should be prepared to continue with recommended changes for at least three months during the initial phase.
The components of health that drive our purpose and methods are summarized in our logo:

Leonardo da Vinci (1452–1519) combined art and science to create the perfectly proportioned human (c1492). Building on Greek mathematical principles, the Vitruvian Man is an illustration of how balance and symmetry in health can produce extraordinary results from several core principles. The most basic of these components were emphasized by Hippocrates, the Father of Medicine. Years later this was expressed as Sit mens sana in corpore sano.
The original work is stored in the Gallerie dell’Accademia, Venice. One of Da Vinci’s most memorable quotes was: “Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.” This is a variant of Occam’s razor [William Ockham (c. 1285–1349)]: Entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem, or “Don’t make things unnecessarily complicated.” Razor refers to shaving off unnecessary assumptions to get to the simplest explanation, which has been used to guide scientists to basic explanations. Unfortunately, the pendulum has swung the other way, since the more science advances, the more we see that Mother Nature is extremely complex.
Commitment includes personal responsibility and ownership of your own health.
